Update (26/08/23): While both PS5 and Xbox Series X use the same native resolutions, it's worth noting there is a sharper end result on PS5 overall in comparisons. The base 720p image only plays one part here for each - and potentially we're looking at a different use of post processing, AMD's CAS or VRS. We'll update again once we have confirmation as to what the cause is. A brand new Unreal Engine 5.1 title lands in immortals of Aveum - a debut project from Ascendant Studios who make the most of features like nanite and lumen. The turnout on a tech level is one of the most fascinating games we've seen on PS5, Series X and S to date. However there are technical shortcomings, with image quality in particular taking a hit in order to target 60 frames per second on each console. Oynanışı çok güzele benziyor. Normalde aklımda yoktu ama sonraki indirimlerde ben de almayı düşünüyorum. Alınacaklar listesine attım.

İyiymiş o zaman. Bekleyim. Zaten sonraki indirimlerde alacaktım. Plus'a geldiği gibi bitiririm.

Immortals of Aveum'u son Epic indirimlerinde 270 TL'ye almıştım. An itibariyle 24 saat sonunda oyunu bitirdim. Genel anlamda keyif aldım diyebilirim. Bu sene çok fazla baba oyun çıktığı için daha çerezlik kıvamdaki oyunlar haliyle arka planda kaldı, IOA da bundan nasibini almış. Grafikleri (1440p Ultra'da) bazı anlarda göze etkileyici gelirken bazı kısımlarda 6-7 yıl öncesinin yapımları gibi hissettirdi. Oynanıştan son birkaç saat dışında hiç baymadım. 3 farklı büyü tipi ve her birinin 3'er alternatif versiyonu, kaçınma, kalkan, özel ataklar, ulti güçler, pasif yetenekler, çeşitli platform ögeleri, bulmacalar, yeni ekipmanlar ve farklı boss fight'lar/düşman tipleri derken çoğu zaman oldukça eğlendim gameplay'den. Hikayesi bazı anlarda epik ve heyecan verici iken bazı anlarda da cheesy ve basit bir havada ilerledi. Yalnız yapımcılar çok detaylı bir lore -yani kabaca evren tarihi- oluşturmuşlar. Hani 70-80 saat sürecek bol içerikli bir RPG'nin lore'u olsa zerre sırıtmazmış, haklarını vermek lazım.

Onun dışında en şaşırdığım şeyse oyunun temelde metroidvania sistemine sahip olması oldu. İzlediğim videolardan hep koridor shooter hissine kapılmıştım. Evet dümdüz ana hikayeden ilerler ve yan yollara sapmazsanız bu mantıkla ilerleyebilirsiniz ama ufak çaplı açık dünyaları keşfe çıkarsanız metroidvania sistemine sahip olduğuna şahit oluyorsunuz (dümdüz hikayeden ilerlerseniz herhalde bi 14-15 saatte bitirirsiniz oyunu bu arada). Etrafı keşfetmeye değer mi derseniz; öyle bambaşka şeyler görmeseniz de yeni skill puanları ve oynanışı daha da güzelleştiren ekipmanlar bulabildiğiniz için değer diyebilirim. Ayrıca farklı bulmacalarla ve challenge'larla da karşılaşabiliyorsunuz. Bir de optimizasyona değinmem gerekirse konsolda durumu bilmiyorum. Ama PC'de eğer 4000 serisi bir kartınız yoksa pek önermiyorum çünkü Frame Generation açmadan oyun tam anlamıyla akmıyor, aklınızda olsun. Sonuç olarak benim çoğunlukla eğlendiğim, çerezlik, fazla ciddiye alınmadan keyifle oynanabilecek bir iş olmuş Immortals of Aveum. Doom, Shadow Warrior gibi FPS'lerle aranız iyiyse bence indirimlerde bi şans verilir 77/100
