The following is a tutorial on how to set up an Activesync partnership to use Bluetooth.
I thought i would repost this on the new site for the older machines . It took me ages to find out how to do this and i hope it will be of use to others
This is the procedure for the XDA II but should work equally well for other devices
SUMMARY
In order to use activesync via bluetooth it will be necessary to set the com port in activesync to the same com port as your bluetooth serial port, and then set up an activesync partnership via the cradle. The same partnership can then be used via bluetooth.
NB. if your bluetooth serial port is set to com 6 then you do not have to use the cradle to setup the partnership
You must use activesyc 3.7 or higher; this example uses Widcom bluetooth pc software, as used by Belkin, TDK, D-link and other bluetooth manufacturers.
INSTRUCTIONS
1 ON YOUR PC CHECK WHICH COM PORT HAS BEEN ASSIGNED TO YOUR BLUETOOTH SERIAL PORT
Open the bluetooth software on your pc (usually called my bluetooth places) and choose"view my bluetooth services" or similar. Right click on "bluetooth serial port" and choose "properties"; make note of the com port number
2 ON YOUR PC ASSIGN THE COM PORT IN ACTIVESYNC TO THE SAME ONE AS YOUR BLUETOOTH SERIAL PORT
Open the activesync program on your pc and choose "file" and "connection settings" (or right click on the activesync icon in the system tray). ensure the "allow serial cable or infrared..." option is ticked and then open the drop down box under this; now select the com port that you checked previously in the bluetooth software.
3 ON THE PC SET UP A NEW ACTIVESYNC PARTNERSHIP VIA THE CRADLE
if you already have an active sync partnership, this should be deleted (file > delete partnership). Put the xda2 in the cradle and setup a standard partnership via activesync. When this is done take the xda2 out of the cradle and remove the cradle from the pc
4 ON YOUR XDA2 ACTIVATE ACTIVESYNC VIA BLUETOOTH AND BOND THE DEVICES
Go to start > settings > system > bluetooth settings. Under the bluetooth activesync setup "tap on start"; tap "ok" when asked to bond with other device. You will now be in the xda2 bluetooth program. Choose the "discoverable" option and then tap the "bonded devices" tab and choose "new". The xda2 will search for bluetooth devices. When this has finished tap on the name of your pc and choose "next". You will then be asked to enter the device PIN; enter any 4 digit number and tap "next". on the pc, you will be asked to click on the bluetooth icon in the pc system tray and enter the same 4 digit number. When you have done this, click ok. On the xda tap "finish". Close the bluetooth program on the xda2.
5 TO BEGIN SYNCRONISING VIA BLUETOOTH
On the xda go to "start" and "activesync". choose "tools" and and "Connect via bluetooth". Syncronisation via bluetooth will now begin.
NB to end the bluetooth activesync connection, you should tap"stop"in the activesync program on the xda2, or switch off bluetooth.

Son cikan ActiveSync 4.5 ve native olmayan driverler ile BT uzerinden sorunsuz baglandim. Ayarlari kolay oluyor yeni Activesync ile. Sirf denemek amacli idi.. 
Cunku HP 6340 kullaniyorum. Wireless varken kim ne yapsin BT'yi.

peki wifi ile Activesync yapabiliyormuyuz. Benim dizüstümde BT yok. usb ye takıp sync yapmak istemiyorum.hemen pili şarj etmeye başlıyor.
