    Yeni oyunların ve devamlarının geçmişine baktığınızda, çoğu zaman işleri yoluna koyan şeyin ikinci denemelerdeki cesur yeni adımlar olduğunu görürsünüz. Kendisinden önce çıkan Borderlands 2 ve Assassin's Creed 2 gibi çığır açan devam oyunlarının izinden giden Remnant 2, ilk oyunun üzerine olağanüstü bir ekleme yapıyor. Oyundaki çatışma artık daha da akıcı ve tatmin edici. Ganimet ve eşya oluşturma, sayısız olasılığın yaşanabileceği düzeyde geliştirilmiş.
