Especially Ray-Tracing. - PS5 Pro adds ray-tracing reflections on opaque and transparent surfaces. PS5/XSX do not use any Ray-Tracing. - On PC we have Path Tracing, which affects reflections, shadows and global illumination. In this section the PC version is still well above PS5 Pro. - PS5 Pro has better shadows, volumetric lighting and fog in quality mode compared to XSX/PS5. - However, shadow filtering on PS5 Pro is still somewhat low in my opinion, which causes low quality shadows at medium/long distance. - In performance mode, PS5 Pro has similar graphics settings to XSX/PS5 quality mode. - As for the framerate, PS5 Pro maintains a stable 30fps in quality mode. In performance mode we will have some areas with some instability. - To rescale the resolution, PS5 Pro uses PSSR. In most occasions we will find a better image quality than FSR 2 (used in XSX/PS5 versions), but it also causes more artifacts in some areas. - Alan Wake II es uno de los principales juegos que se benefician de algunas características de PS5 Pro.
